Cambio Vita is an Italian restaurant in the heart of Malvern, created with a simple idea — to bring people together over well-made, delicious food.

The client requested a website that mirrored this idea, while using their brand guidelines. They required the interface to be easy to navigate to suit the wide age demographic of the surrounding area. The client also asked that it differentiate from similar websites in the Melbourne hospitality scene.

A competitor analysis revealed that many other woodfire pizza and pasta bars use a black and white colour palette. Therefore, I used the brand's blue as the hero colour, contrasted by the wine red and cream text. Overall, I attempted to turn the owner's vision into a website that was easy to navigate, shifted away from conventional colours, and that provided a welcoming port for guests before they visited the restaurant.
